Peruvian-American mezzo-soprano Kelly Guerra awed Chautauqua audiences in 2021 as Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg in Chautauqua Opera Company’s Scalia/Ginsburg. She returns in 2022 to star in the workshop reading of The House on Mango Street followed by an afternoon of chamber music with Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra Diversity Fellows. The program features chamber arrangements of Mahler’s Songs of a Wayfarer and Fauré’s La bonne chanson, intimate settings for songs of grief and love.
